Volunteer
Volunteer with NYCHA PARTY
Your time builds the movement. Canvass, phone bank, teach, translate, or host — pick what fits you and your borough.
There is no movement without the people who show up. NYCHA PARTY is built by residents and neighbors giving a few hours a week — knocking on doors, running workshops, translating, or hosting a living-room meeting.
What you'll do
- Talk to your neighbors — canvassing and phone banking turn one conversation into ten new supporters.
- Teach the path — volunteer homebuyer educators run credit and counseling sessions with our partners.
- Bring the community — hosts organize house meetings and help us reach developments we've never touched.
- Move the message — designers, translators, and social volunteers keep the campaign visible in every language.
What to expect
We train every volunteer, no experience needed. You'll pick your borough and your skills below, and we'll follow up within a couple of days with ways to plug in.
