Why we're being careful

Campaign finance rules exist so that the people who give are known and the movement stays accountable to residents — not to big money. We are standing up the full compliance structure before we accept a single dollar. When we open donations, every contribution will follow New York State campaign finance law, with public disclosure and contribution limits clearly explained.
